突き抜けるようなミネラルと凝縮感 コンジィ村のレ・ピエリエールという区画のシャルドネのみで仕込んでいるキュヴェ。浅い貧弱な表土の下に比較的柔らかい石灰の中にシレックスや黒曜石が混じる、シャンパーニュでは珍しい土壌です。

The NV Extra-Brut Blanc de Blancs Les Pierrières (2015) is showing just as brilliantly as when I last reviewed it in 2020. Unwinding in the glass with aromas of ripe orchard and citrus fruit, hints of dried mango, freshly baked bread, white flowers and wet stones, it's medium to full-bodied, concentrated and electric, with racy acids, chalky structuring extract and a long, searingly mineral finish. This layered, vinous Champagne was disgorged after 48 months on the lees, something that Collin has now generalized to the whole cuvée of some 12,000 bottles, beginning with the 2018 base.(The Wine Advocate, Mar 22, 2024) セロスの継承者が放つ原石の輝き ユリス コラン Ulysse Collin 「栽培醸造家の巨星」アンセルム・セロスの4人の弟子の中で、このメゾンの当主オリヴィエ・コランは恵まれています。地勢に優れたコート・デ・セザンヌ地区に畑を所有しているからです。2001年、セロスと出会って目を開かれ、大手ネゴシアンに貸していた畑を取り戻しました。コランが畑の栽培法を有機的な方向に転換したのは2004年。除草剤は廃止し、必要最低限の薬品だけを使うリュット・レゾネに取り組んでいます。畑の可能性を探り続け、カーヴで実験を繰り返しているオリヴィエ・コランのシャンパーニュは、次に何が出てくるか予測できない面白さと、現在進行形のダイナミズムが魅力のメゾンです。 ユリス コラン 一覧へ
