概要
淡いクリーム色の輝きをたたえたグラスから立ち上るのは、ライムの花やアカシアといった白い花の香り、そしてレモンやグレープフルーツを思わせる弾けるような柑橘の息吹。時間をかけると蜂蜜やブリオッシュ、焼きたてのクロワッサンの芳しさが溶け込み、チョークとフリントのミネラルが奥行きを添える。口に含めば、シルクのようになめらかな口当たりと鮮やかな酸が一体となり、長く続く余韻はミネラルと塩味のニュアンスを纏う。シャンパーニュ随一のブラン・ド・ブランとして、20〜30年以上の熟成にも耐えうる稀有なポテンシャルを秘めた一本。

テタンジェの最高峰キュヴェ「コント・ド・シャンパーニュ・ブラン・ド・ブラン」は、コート・デ・ブラン地区のグラン・クリュ認定畑——アヴィーズ、シュイィ、クラマン、ル・メニル・シュール・オジェ、オジェ——から収穫されたシャルドネのみで仕立てる、ブラン・ド・ブランの頂点と称される一本です。
使用するのは一番搾り果汁（キュヴェ）だけ。ブレンドするワインの約5%を新樽（毎年三分の一を入れ替え）で約4ヶ月熟成させることで、ほのかなトースト香が全体のアクセントとなります。
熟成はランスのサン＝ニケーズ修道院跡に広がるガロ・ロマン時代の石切場カーヴで行われ、最低でも7年以上の瓶熟成を経てリリース。2005年・2012年ヴィンテージのように10年超の熟成後にお披露目される年もあります。
天候に恵まれた特別な収穫年にのみ生産されるミレジメ・シャンパーニュであり、初ヴィンテージは1952年。2016年のノーベル賞晩餐会（ストックホルム）では2006年ヴィンテージが採用され、同メゾンとして初めて3年連続採用という栄誉も記録しています。
ル・クラスマン誌は「偉大なブラン・ド・ブランを一本だけ選ぶとしたら間違いなくテタンジェのコント・ド・シャンパーニュになるだろう」と絶賛。2012年ヴィンテージはジェームス・サックリングとファルフスタッフからいずれも99点を獲得しており、国際的な評価も揺るぎません。
