ジャン氏の逝去を受け、ご家族とご親族の皆様に心よりお悔やみ申し上げます。 以下ビルカール・サルモンの声明文です。 The Billecart family and Maison Billecart-Salmon are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jean Roland-Billecart at the age of 102. Affectionately known as “Monsieur Jean,” he represented the 5th generation at the helm of the family-run Champagne House, which he led from 1963 to 1993. A passionate oenologist and a visionary, Jean Roland-Billecart brought low-temperature vinification in 1953—now a hallmark of the House's style. In the 1970s, he breathed new life into the Champagne Rosé before launching the prestigious Cuvée Elisabeth Salmon in 1988. After handing over the reins to his son François, he remained actively involved in the House as Chairman of the Supervisory Board and a key member of the tasting committee, alongside his sons Antoine, François and great-nephew Mathieu Roland-Billecart.
